Mission Statement

We seek to do the will of God through evangelism. Preaching the Word of God to reach the lost and offering hope for those who feel there is no one who cares. We also endeavor to give opportunities to young preachers to preach and exercise the calling wherein they are called. There is a great need in the world today to stand true to the Holy Scriptures inspired by God and written by men of old to give us guidance in how to live and set forth an example for our families. It is our goal to always be faithful and seek to help others until the Lord calls us home or the church is called out. We prayerfully seek to do the will of God in all that we do.

History

Offering Hope Ministries began in August of 2000 after Rev. Bobby Jones had a burden to start an evangelistic ministry. It began with camp meetings in various locations in the summer months. Later God began to lead in other areas. After prayer and waiting on the Lord, in 2003 the prison ministry began. The first unit started was the Gatling Juvenile Center in Huntersville, North Carolina. Later we were able to get into the Alexander County Juvenile Center in Taylorsville. We were later given the opportunity to work in the Lincoln County Adult Correctional Center in Lincolnton. In 2003 we were given corporation status with the Secretary of State of North Carolina and also tax exempt status with the NC Department of Revenue. We are a 501© (3) and a 170 © (2) non-profit charitable organization. Other units opened their door to us and we look forward to working in more facilities across the state and country. In 2005 a tent was donated to the ministry. Revival meetings are conducted in the summer months in various areas. Our team is made up of preachers, singers and anyone who desires to serve God in the prison ministry. As the ministry grows we desire the prayers and financial support of God’s people and anyone with a desire to help spread to gospel to the lost world.
